Job Info: POSITION DETAILS:Under the supervision of a physician, provides patient care by taking patient history, performing physical examination and diagnosis, prescribing treatment regimen and performing patient education according to policies and procedures. Refers patients to supervising physician for further evaluation and care when necessary. Refers patients in a timely manner to their own physicians for follow-up care or emergency for immediate care. Assists in reviewing and developing policies and procedures. Participates in QA & I. Provides coverage in the clinic during physician absences. May be required to work adjustable hours and weekends. Performs other duties as assigned.
